
Trail running camp

At our trail running camp, you can enjoy trail running intensively in the form of runs, exercises and lectures.
The two-day trail running camp will provide a more intensive introduction to trail running through various technique exercises, lectures and, of course, running on the Saariselkä fell trails.
At the end of the first day, we will take care of our body and mind with body care exercises, a restorative sauna, and a dip in a refreshing fell pond.
Place and time: Saariselkä, Inari, 9 am-5 pm
PROGRAM
Day 1
9 am - 12 pm: running technique and related information, basic endurance and its training
12:00 - 1:00 pm lunch (included in the camp price)
1 - 2 pm: The importance of nutrition in endurance sports and recovery
2 - 4:30 p.m. Utilizing terrain features in planning a small-group trail, practical exercises
4:30 PM - 5 PM body care
6pm - 8pm sauna and swimming and a light evening snack at Laanila Kievari (included in the camp price)
Day 2
9 am - 12 pm running technique, speed endurance and utilizing terrain in weekly training
12:00 - 1:00 pm lunch (included in the camp price)
1 - 2 p.m. trail runner strength training
2 - 4:15 p.m. Strength training areas, practical exercises
4:15 PM - 5 PM body care and end of camp
